Job summary

Physicians Hearing Network is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support hearing healthcare services in Tempe and Gold Canyon, AZ. The role offers a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu) from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with equal time split between Tempe and Gold Canyon clinics.

Responsibilities include conducting adult hearing screenings, operating equipment, recording results, and referring patients as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and can maintain HIPAA confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in hearing healthcare is a plus.

We have an exciting part-time Medical Assistant opportunity supporting our hearing healthcare services in Tempe and Gold Canyon, AZ.

This position is for a 4-day work week, Monday–Thursday, from 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, with 2 days each week at our Tempe clinic and 2 days each week at our Gold Canyon clinic.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in helping patients. Responsibilities include supporting and administering hearing screenings for patients and making referrals when necessary.

This role is critical in helping to identify and address hearing issues early, contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.

Requirements

• Conduct hearing screenings for adult patients.

The ideal candidate has:

• High school diploma or equivalent - required
• 2 + years of experience in a healthcare setting - required
• Previous experience in hearing healthcare a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Compensation
