$2,500 Sign-on Bonus for Full-Time Positions!

Join HopeWest as a Medical Assistant (MA), a multi-skilled allied health professional dedicated to supporting all aspects of the PACE clinic. The Medical Assistant provides essential clinic support to ensure the effective operation of the PACE Clinic. Responsibilities include administrative and clinical tasks such as maintaining patient records, preparing participants and rooms for examinations, assisting physicians during exams, processing orders, escorting participants during appointments, and performing front desk duties as needed.

PACE, or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, offers comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to enable individuals who might otherwise reside in a nursing home to remain cared for in their homes and communities. There are 180 PACE programs across 33 states, serving over 79,000 people and growing monthly.

What You Bring:
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant) maintained throughout employment.
  • If not currently certified, must have worked as an MA for at least 3 years in the last 7 and be willing to register, test, and pass for RMA or CMA within the first 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of paid or volunteer experience working with the elderly.
  • Preferred experience in a primary care clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
  • Current CPR certification maintained throughout employment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in various situations.
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships with others.

  • Competitive pay starting at $20.15-$24.54 per hour, based on experience and education.
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule.
