Responsibilities

Perform front‑desk duties, patient intake, and verify insurance information.

Assist physicians with outpatient exams, rooming patients, and clinical documentation.

Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure data integrity.

Collect vital signs, medical history, and prepare patients for procedures.

Prepare and administer basic clinical tasks under supervision (EKG, specimen collection).

Ensure infection control, safety, and equipment sanitation according to protocols.

Deliver compassionate patient communication and de‑escalate concerns professionally.

Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling to optimize throughput.

Support revenue cycle activities via accurate coding and billing assistance.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and report findings.

Maintain inventory of supplies, restock rooms, and notify when reorders are needed.

Experience/Qualifications

Medical assisting certification or relevant credential required.

Experience with EHR documentation and ensuring data integrity.

Clinical support during outpatient exams including rooming and vital signs.

Infection control, safety protocols, and equipment sanitation compliance.
