Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals in hospital-licensed clinics.
• Perform non-invasive technical services under supervision, within scope of education/certification.
• Collect patient history, document in EMR, and acquire test results prior to visits.
• Maintain patient flow, assist with forms, and support clinical duties such as vital signs, specimen collection, EKGs, and administering medications/injections.
• Facilitate patient check-out, follow-up tests, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain supplies.
• Collect and transport specimens, and perform administrative duties like scanning and filing.
• Transport stable, non-acute patients for testing or treatment.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
• 2 years of experience preferred in medical settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association

• Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.41 per hour
