Summary: The Medical Assistant (MA) role is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant (MA) role functions under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.
