Position Overview

Are you a compassionate and patient-oriented Medical Assistant or LPN seeking a fulfilling and challenging opportunity? Eagle Walk-In Care offers a competitive salary and a generous benefits package. We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated Medical Assistants and LPNs to join our team, providing clinical support to physicians and APPs in our office.

Schedule

35-37 hours per week, varying between 7am-7pm. Rotating 4-day and 3-day work weeks. Two weekends per month, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Triage incoming patients to determine priority and severity of conditions.
2. Obtain patient histories and vital signs; record information accurately.
3. Perform phlebotomy and lab procedures; record results.
4. Assist with office procedures like laceration repairs.
5. Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
6. Educate patients about illnesses, treatment plans, and provide informational materials.
7. Ensure lab reports are in charts and reviewed by physicians.
8. Obtain signed medical releases when needed.
9. Follow safety protocols, including PPE use; report equipment issues.
10. Schedule referrals and coordinate home health, pre-certifications, and pre-authorizations.
11. Operate medical equipment, including blood pressure cuffs, spirometers, EKGs, etc.
12. Maintain clean, stocked work areas; sterilize instruments.
13. Secure controlled materials and dispose of infectious waste properly.
14. Attend staff meetings and participate in committees.
15. Maintain exam rooms and participate in professional development.
16. Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards per HIPAA guidelines.
17. Demonstrate respect, courtesy, and team spirit; maintain a positive attitude.
