We are currently hiring for a Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinical Team Assistant, CNA at MaineHealth, Neurology!
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Medical Assistants and Clinical Team Assistants:
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time MA position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
MaineHealth Neurology is home to 26 Physicians, 9 Resident Physicians, and 9 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with nearly 65 staff serving both Adult and Pediatric Neurology patients at its new state-of-the-art facility in Scarborough, ME, at 92 Campus Drive. Adult Neurology features multiple sub-specialties, including: Epilepsy, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Movement Disorders, Memory, and Pediatric Neurology.
Employees can advance through the MA Clinical Ladder, participate in educational opportunities and conferences, and obtain credentialing and specialty certifications. MaineHealth, Neurology also offers opportunities for leadership and involvement in department and organization committees.
Hours are Monday-Friday, with an option to work 4 ten-hour shifts after orientation.
The role involves clinical and administrative duties such as rooming patients, processing medication refills and insurance authorizations, and scanning documents.
