Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Medical Assistant to work in our onsite Medical Center. The role involves patient assessments, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs and injections, with emphasis on room readiness and adherence to EHMG and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical clinical skills.
• CPR certification required.
• Current and active Medical Assistant certification including CPR & phlebotomy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient assessments; vital signs; EKGs; phlebotomy; injections.
• Manages stocking of treatment rooms and ensures cleanliness.
• Partners with lab facilities to ensure compliance with EHMG policies and OSHA guidelines.
