Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Cancer Institute in Lisle and Plainfield, IL. You will support physicians, greet patients, take vitals, and assist with exams, minor procedures, and onsite labs.

The role emphasizes compassionate care and accurate charting in a patient-centered environment. Qualifications include a MA program, high school diploma or GED, and CPR; several MA certifications are acceptable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related health sciences coursework.
  • Active MA certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA preferred; CPR required or to be certified on hire.
  • Phlebotomy certification may be completed within 90 days of hire.
  • Prior MA/clinical office experience and EMR use preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and assist with registration and scheduling.
  • Measure vital signs and collect health history.
  • Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Assist with immunizations or injections if certified.
  • Process prescriptions, update charting, and manage chart filing.
  • Conduct onsite lab tests such as EKG, PFT, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
  • Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent customer service.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
