Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Tinley Park location. You will support patient registration, take vitals, and assist clinicians during exams in a fast-paced practice.

The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, empathy in patient interactions, and collaboration with care teams across primary and family medicine services.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of Medical Assistant program or higher health sciences coursework.
• Active MA certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA preferred or required per site.
• Experience with patient registration, vital signs, and basic lab procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, and health history collection.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Assist with immunizations, injections, and prescription requests as needed.

One Saturday per month; Half Day or day off during the week if a Saturday is worked.Location: Tinley Park, ILTravel: As needed.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health historyProvide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid proceduresCertified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injectionsAssist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filingConduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy testsMaintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visitsProvide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE valuesSome travel to assist other local clinics may be requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience requiredSeveral of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:American Medical Technologists (AMT)National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire requiredMay require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hirePrior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient carePrior experience using an electronic medical record (e.g. Epic) preferredCollege graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and in pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to applyThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
