New England Cancer Specialists (NECS) is currently seeking a full-time 32-hour Certified Medical Assistant to join our Kennebunk, ME location. The Certified Medical Assistant will provide top-line care to patients with cancer and blood disorders. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, reviewing symptoms forms, medication review, assisting in the infusion center, and phlebotomy. The CMA will work within a team including a physician, APP, nurse navigator, and a care coordinator.
NECS is a private practice with fifteen oncologists and hematologists across Maine and New Hampshire. Our mission is to improve lives affected by cancer and blood disorders, emphasizing kindness, compassion, and respect. We are the first Dana Farber Affiliate practice, committed to high-quality, holistic patient care.
Monday-Friday, no late nights. Participation in weekend urgent care in Scarborough, ME, 4-5 times/year, scheduled in advance. Periodic travel to other NECS locations may be required.
