Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with current MA certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by recording vital signs and history and setting up the exam room.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens; administers vaccines as directed.
• Screens and directs patient calls; communicates prescriptions and results per protocol.
• Maintains regulatory testing and ensures equipment accuracy and cleanliness.
• Handles front desk duties including patient registration, scheduling and billing.
