Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks a Medical Assistant to prepare patients and assist clinicians by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and coordinating exams. You will support the provider during examinations and help with front desk duties as needed.
Responsibilities include phlebotomy, vaccine administration, basic diagnostic testing (EKG, pulmonary function), regulatory testing, maintaining supplies, and scheduling appointments.

Performs various clinical tasks within the scope of their certification and under the supervision of the physician.
0-2 years of similar job experience in a medical office preferred.
HS diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Virtua Health Medical Assistant Program.
Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant. In the state of DE, certification is required within 1 year of hire.
BLS Certification required.
$19.54 - $29.20 Hourly
