Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Decatur, GA.

You will work directly with patients, support providers in a fast-paced primary care or urgent care setting, and help maintain an efficient, patient-focused environment. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, with at least two years' experience and current BLS/CPR certification; phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and accreditation in a Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience; primary care or urgent care preferred.
• Certification required where applicable; AAMA preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire where required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and patient-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms using sterile techniques.
• Assist providers with office-based procedures.
• Administer immunizations to patients of all ages.
• Support basic sterilization, cleaning, and autoclaving procedures.
• Document patient care in the EMR.
• Maintain an efficient, patient-focused clinical environment.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation & Benefits:
