Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Medical Assistant - Occupational Health for a part-time position (20 hours/week). The role supports clinical operations with patient prep, phlebotomy, specimen handling, and routine lab tests, under supervision.

You will travel to other locations as needed and work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. A High School Diploma and current certification within 1 year, plus CPR certification, are required, along with at least six months of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Certification: Current certification or registration through AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NCMA, AMCA, NCCT, NCNH, NHA (or equivalent) within 1 year from hire date.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association for healthcare providers, or certification must be obtained within three months of hire date.
• Experience: A minimum of six months of clinical experience, required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and record results, and perform phlebotomy and routine diagnostic tests.
• Under delegated supervision of a physician, perform clinical and administrative tasks.

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Summary

• Under general supervision of clinic supervisor, and following established procedures and precedents, prepares patients for physical examination, obtains specimens, conducts select routine laboratory tests and records results, and performs phlebotomy, routine diagnostic tests.
• Under delegated supervision of a physician, performs clinical and administrative tasks.

What You Need

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Certification: Current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), American Medical Technologies (AMT), National Center for Medical Assistants (NCMA), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Health career Association (NHA), required within 1 year from hire date.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association for healthcare providers or, in case of practice acquisition, certification must be obtained within three months of hire date.
• Experience: A minimum of six months of clinical experience, required.
