Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville seeks a part-time Medical Assistant - Occupational Health to support clinical exams, specimen collection, and basic lab tests. You will work under clinic supervision, assisting physicians and staff to maintain smooth patient flow.

Role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification within the grace period, and at least six months of clinical experience. Some travel to other locations is possible; hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association) for healthcare providers, or obtained within three months of hire date.
• Certification within 1 year from hire date from the listed certifying bodies (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NCMA, AMCA, NCCT, NHA).
• Minimum of six months of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical examination and obtain specimens.
• Perform phlebotomy and routine diagnostic tests; record results.
• Under physician supervision, perform clinical and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Support the clinic operations and ensure patient flow and safety.

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Location: 100 Spalding, Naperville

Part time | 20 hours/week

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

Summary:

Under general supervision of clinic supervisor, and following established procedures and precedents, prepares patients for physical examination, obtains specimens, conducts select routine laboratory tests and records results, and performs phlebotomy, routine diagnostic tests.

Under delegated supervision of a physician, performs clinical and administrative tasks.

What you need:

Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.

Certification : Current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), American Medical Technologies (AMT), National Center for Medical Assistants (NCMA), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Health career Association (NHA), required within 1 year from hire date.

Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association for healthcare providers or, in case of practice acquisition, certification must be obtained within three months of hire date.

Experience : A minimum of six months of clinical experience, required.
