Additional Information About the Role

• 40 hours per week
• 7:30am-4:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• 8:30am-5:00pm on Thursday
• No weekends or holidays!

Role Purpose

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides patient care under the supervision of a physician or licensed provider, performing duties that promote health and adhere to practice protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare, and stock exam rooms.
• Obtain vital signs, patient history, and maintain accurate charting.
• Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections.
• Triaging calls, providing test and lab results, and presenting relevant information to providers with correct medical terminology.
• Assist providers by preparing patients for exams, procedures, and treatments.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• No prior experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified Medical Assistant
• CPR Certification
