St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant for Newport Ovation Primary Care to provide clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers. The role includes patient prep, vital signs, basic lab work, medication administration, and adherence to OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA regulations.

40-hour regular schedule with no nights, holidays, or weekends except for Urgent Care or after-hours clinics. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, a 403(b) with match, and growth opportunities within

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA, or SEH Clinical Care Tech experience or MA program completion or EMT/SEP-related education

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs.
• Assist provider during examinations and nursing procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams and provide instructions per provider.
• Collect/prepare lab specimens and perform basic lab tests.
• Prepare and administer medications under provider guidance.
• Maintain patient charts and complete forms for revenue cycle.
