Riverhills Neuroscience is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in Norwood, OH. This role focuses on patient flow, rooming, vital signs, and preparing patients for exams and procedures.

The MA will document in the EHR, assist providers, and ensure timely service while maintaining infection control and a patient‑centered approach. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• RMA/CMA or other medical credential preferred.
• EMR experience required.
• 1–2 years MA experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow and check schedules to support providers.
• Rooms patients promptly and accompany to exam/procedure rooms.
• Assist patients with transfers, dressing, specimen collection, and preparation.
• Perform screenings, collect patient history, and chart in the EHR.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures as assigned.
• Maintain infection control standards in rooms and equipment.
• Schedule appointments and complete documentation.
