MaineHealth Urology - Brunswick is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (36 hours/week) to join our care team. The role involves patient care and administrative duties in a team-based environment, ensuring smooth patient flow. The Medical Assistant III works under the license of the physician or advanced practice practitioner during clinical and patient care responsibilities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following: graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience, completed an Adult Education Medical Assistant program with 6 months of clinical experience, or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (evaluated case-by-case).
• License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within one year. Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start. NH Med Tech License or NH EMT/National Registry EMT license required for positions in New Hampshire.
• Experience: One year as a Medical Assistant or 6 months with certification required.
