Job summary

Community Reach Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care within our Thornton, CO offices and partner sites. The MA will work with providers to prepare for visits, document vital information, and ensure clean, stocked exam rooms while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role emphasizes patient-centered, efficient care across affiliated clinics, with opportunities for growth and cross-location collaboration in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
• Prefer 1 year of directly related experience.
• Understand Medical terminology.
• Clerical/administrative support experience, scheduling, coordinating with external partners.
• Communication, organization, time management and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs responsibilities in a manner that promotes quality patient care and customers service and satisfaction.
• Work with assigned providers or locations, plans and prepares for patient visits ensuring appropriate schedules, test results, and clinic specific requirements are available.
• Room patients consistent with clinic needs while determining and documenting chief complaint and reason for visit, vital signs, medication list, allergies, and other information as required by clinic.
• As required and competency validated obtain and document a variety of routine procedures: AIMS assessments, BAL, UA, HCG, PHQ9
• Prepares and stocks (daily/weekly) in advance of clinic visit as well as sanitizing rooms between patients.
• Additional office, clerical, maintenance duties may be assigned
