Medical Assistant, Medical Technician

As a Medical Assistant, you will be a part of the Clinical Care Team, engaging with patients in an occupational health clinic setting. The Medical Assistant makes a difference in the patient care experience and services offered. The Medical Technician will assist Physicians and other clinicians to evaluate and carry out prescribed medical treatment while performing administrative and clinical tasks, delivering outstanding customer service and positive patient engagement while maintaining standards, best practices, adherence to medical standards, and law in a safe clinical environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Vital Signs
• EKG
• Drug & Alcohol Testing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• A Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate preferred, plus one year of experience, or equivalent work experience
• CPR Certification
• Experience with Blood Draws and EKG is beneficial
• Prior Occupational or Clinic Environment a plus
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Must be willing to work an occasional rotating schedule: two nights for 2/4 weeks (Mon-Thurs) per month and one weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) about every six weeks. Generous on-call pay, and the ability to increase earnings
