Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Allentown, PA 18101
Shift: 8am to 5pm
Hours per week: 40
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
EMR: EPIC
Experience req: Minimum of three 1 year recent experience as Medical Assistant
Preferred Qualification: Associates degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.

J ob Summary: Functions as a member of the clinical care delivery team for a hospital based outpatient department or physician practice. Provides designated clinical care to patients under the direction of an LPN, RN, or medical provider. Performs clerical/administrative duties associated with front desk operations under the direction of the Practice Manager/Director and/or Site Manager or Office Coordinator.
