Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with non-invasive procedures, takes vital signs, and prepares patients for exams.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms before visits and procedures.
• Manages patient intake, reports test results, triage calls, and documents information.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation.
• Supports scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Maintains organized workload and provides courteous service to providers and patients.
• Monitors supplies and equipment to ensure inventory and functionality.
• Educates patients on medications and health topics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with policies and standards.
