Job summary

Colorado Physician Partners is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Denver. You will cooperate with clinical staff to deliver patient services, maintain a welcoming environment, and support streamlined patient care while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing for visits, updating records, taking vital signs, and assisting during exams. A high school diploma and current Medical Assistant certification plus CPR are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately.
  • Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to various duties and cross-train within other departments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of Universal Precautions and HIPAA standards.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.
  • Valid State Driver’s License preferred.

  • Maintain Exam Rooms: Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits per infection control standards.
  • Patient Preparation: Ready patients for visits and notify the physician when they are ready to be seen.
  • Initial Medical Screening: Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history.
  • Assist During Exams: Support physicians during patient examinations.
  • Efficient Use of Time: Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep areas clean and orderly.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with our Clinical services staff to deliver outstanding patient services, all while maintaining a positive and flexible attitude. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for Patient Visits: Review and update patient records before face-to-face or Telehealth appointments, ensuring all recent test results and correspondence are up-to-date.
  • Maintain Exam Rooms: Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen.
  • Initial Medical Screening: Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history accurately.
  • Assist During Exams: Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations.
  • Efficient Use of Time: Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep all areas clean and orderly.
Qualifications

Salary Range
  • Hourly Pay Range: $19.29-20.59 hourly
  • Additional Compensation: Eligible for quarterly performance bonus based on individual and/or company performance
