Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for a Specialty Float Pool across Davenport, IA; Bettendorf, IA; Moline, IL; and Silvis, IL. This is a full-time Day shift position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The MA supports clinical practice by assisting physicians and other providers with patient care, taking vital signs, preparing patients, documenting encounters, and helping maintain accurate medical records to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Specialty Float Pool Location: Davenport, IA and Bettendorf, IA, and Moline, IL, and Silvis, IL. Must be able to drive to all locations. Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day shift, M-F. Pay Range: $18.25 - $27.37 per hour Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Required:

• Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
