Job summary

MercyOne Davenport seeks a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) within the Specialty Float Pool to support clinical practice operations by performing admin and clinical tasks, assisting physicians, preparing patients, collecting vital signs, documenting, and performing basic procedures.

Location spans Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, Silvis; PRN hours, day shift, M-F; must be able to drive to all locations; pay range $18.25 - $27.37 per hour; actual pay based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Prepare patients for procedures and examinations.

Description

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Specialty Float Pool

Location: Davenport, IA and Bettendorf, IA, and Moline, IL, and Silvis, IL. Must be able to drive to all locations.

Schedule: PRN hours per week, Day shift, M-F.

Pay Range: $18.25 - $27.37 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Required:
