Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in Davenport, IA (with Bettendorf, IA, Moline, IL and Silvis, IL) is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for our Specialty Float Pool on a full-time daytime schedule.

The role supports physicians and care teams with patient prep, vital signs, documentation and basic procedures, helps coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate records, and aims to deliver a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

Responsibilities

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position: Medical Assistant (MA): Specialty Float Pool

Location: Davenport, IA and Bettendorf, IA, and Moline, IL, and Silvis, IL. Must be able to drive to all locations.

Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day shift, M-F.

Pay Range: $18.25 - $27.37 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
