Job summary

North Alabama Shoals Hospital seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Pulmonology department. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, with certification such as CCMA, CMA, or RMA preferred. How you'll contribute

A Certified Medical Assistant who excels in this role:

• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
