Job summary

MercyOne Pediatrics Clinic in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN for full-time day shift. Schedule is 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The MA role includes patient prep, vital signs, and basic clinical duties; LPN option requires Iowa licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

• LPN License in the state of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Supports operation of the clinical practice by performing administrative and clinical tasks.
• Assists physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital signs, documentation and basic clinical procedures.
• Coordinates patient flow, maintains accurate medical records, and ensures a positive patient experience.

Shift: Day Shift

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Required

• Must have successfully completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

OR

• Must have successfully completed accredited LPN program.
• LPN License in the state of Iowa.
