Job Summary

Medical Assistant (MA): Performs administrative and clinical duties under the physician's supervision, including scheduling, records management, billing, vital signs, medical histories, preparing patients, drawing blood, and administering medications.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Performs nursing duties within the scope of practice as defined by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, under the supervision of a licensed prescriber or physician, promoting health and caring for ill or injured patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize nursing and medical knowledge for safe patient care, documented through positive outcomes.
  • Assist in data collection on the EMR.
  • Follow physician orders accurately.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Coordinate communication among patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Report patient needs and observations to physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care.
  • Participate in staff development and continuing education.
  • Take initiative for cross-functional duties to ensure seamless care.
