Medical Assistant (MA), Gastroenterology

Position Highlights:

• Position: Medical Assistant
• Location: Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5pm with rotating weekends
• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height, and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.
• Experience: One year of work experience required; previous experience in a medical office preferred. On-the-job training provided for those without prior medical assistant training or experience.
