Job summary

MercyOne is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for a Float Pool in Davenport, IA, with travel to Bettendorf, Moline and Silvis as needed. You will support the clinical practice by preparing patients, taking vital signs, documenting information, and performing basic procedures.

The role is full-time, day shift (40 hours/week, M-F) with a pay range of $18.25–$27.37 per hour. Certification within one year is required if not already held, following completion of an accredited MA program.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.

Pay Range: $18.25 - $27.37 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. The Medical Assistant also coordinates patient flow, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Required:
