Medical Assistant/MA-C - Pediatrics at Swedish Pediatrics - Redmond

Schedule:Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location:Redmond, Washington

Job description:

As a Medical Assistant (MA-C), you will assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating information in EPIC, and taking patients’ vital signs during appointments. Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical training in medical assisting, or
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or
  • Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces, or
  • At least one year of work experience as a medical assistant performing clinical skills such as vital signs, injections, and medication administration, or
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire, and
  • Within 30 days of hire, obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience, and
  • At least 6 months of medical assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
