Must-Haves for Healthcare Professionals:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program strongly preferred; other healthcare certificates or degrees may be considered with relevant experience
• CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities of Our Medical Assistants:

• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Obtain vital signs and chief complaints
• Review family history and assist during exams and procedures
• Administer injections and medications post-competency training
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment
• Stock exam rooms and perform phlebotomy and lab tests
• Provide direct patient care within training limits when providers are unavailable
• Document all procedures and lab results accurately
• Handle patient communications and triage calls appropriately
• Educate patients as needed
• Maintain clinical equipment and assist in protocol development
