Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to work in Mooresville, NC. In this dual role, you will support both clinical responsibilities and front desk operations, ensuring excellent patient care and smooth patient flow.

Your daily tasks will include interviewing patients, maintaining health records, preparing treatment rooms, and performing administrative tasks among others. Job description

As a Full Time Medical Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Mooresville, NC.

This is a dual role position supporting both clinical Medical Assistant responsibilities and front desk operations in an outpatient setting. The role works closely with providers to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient care.

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepare treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments
• Medicate administration including injections, perform laboratory tests, operate EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Perform administrative tasks, assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, make follow‑up calls, and order medical supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
