Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related technical training preferred.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures and treatments.
• Obtain patient histories and prepare patients for visits.
• Perform routine lab procedures and prepare specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follow up on test orders and communicate results to providers and patients.
• Create and update patient records in the EMR.
• Maintain medical equipment and clinical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations.

Education
