Job summary

Mercy Washington ENT Clinic is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team. This outpatient role delivers direct patient care, supports providers with examinations, and helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, attention to detail, proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), and a commitment to patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Clinic Academy training required.
• LPN license in the state where duties are performed required.
• BLS certification (or complete within 30 days of hire) required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR.
• Coordinate patient care activities, appointments, referrals, and follow-up.
• Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and care plans.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment.
