BayCare is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to join our multi-specialty group serving the Tampa Bay region. Location: St Anthonys Primary Care Pasadena. Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• BLS Basic Life Support required
• Approved Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months or proof of active license
• Or EMT / NREMT / Paramedic / LPN certification or license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Technical Medical Assistant background
• Preferred 2 years Medical Assistant experience

Responsabilités

• Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab
• Follows up on test orders and reports results to provider and patient, and maintains patient education materials
• Creates and maintains patient EMR
• Complies with all applicable regulatory agency regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
