Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN with a passion for outstanding patient service in the Tampa Bay area. The role supports a multi-specialty group with extensive outpatient locations.

The candidate will handle patient histories, routine lab procedures, EMR maintenance, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with a team across 175 locations. You will work a standard 8:00AM–5:00PM schedule, Monday through Friday, in Tampa, FL, with full benefits including health, dental, vision,

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent is required.
• Preferred Technical Medical Assistant training.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and perform routine lab procedures.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follow up on test orders and report results to provider and patient.
• Create and maintain patient EMR.
• Comply with regulatory agency regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
