BayCare is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area for a part-time role to support patient care across multiple sites.

The shift runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to satellite locations within Hillsborough County and mileage reimbursement provided. Responsibilities include patient histories, routine lab procedures, EMR management, test coordination, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification: CMA/CCMA/RMA or active license/certification preferred; BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Approved Medical Assistant Certification required within 6 months of hire or proof of active license/certification; EMT/NREMT/Paramedic/LPN also acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Take patient histories and perform routine lab procedures.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follow up on test orders and report results to provider and patient; maintain patient education materials.
• Create and maintain patient EMR and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
