Job summary

Dermatology Consultants, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to support providers across our East Metro clinics, including St. Paul, Woodbury, Eagan, and Vadnais Heights. You will assist with patient flow, minor procedures, EMR scribing, and clinical support during visits.

The role emphasizes a warm, professional patient experience in a private dermatology practice with no evenings or weekends and competitive benefits. Full-time schedule 32–34 hours per week with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing program with CMA/RMA or LPN certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and warmth with patients.
• EMR experience and patient education responsibilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to the provider during surgical and medical procedures and assist with cosmetic services.
• Room patients and scribe for the provider in the EMR system throughout visits.
• Perform clinical and administrative duties including injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, and scheduling.

Medical Assistant or LPN

collaborates with the provider on the patient care team. Responsibilities include a variety of hands-on patient care duties including assisting with patient flow, assisting the provider, assisting in cosmetic procedures, surgery assisting, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) scribing, lab duties, and phlebotomy.

Starting Pay Range

$24-$30 per hour

Duties

• Provide direct assistance to provider with surgical and medical procedures such as surgery, excisions, biopsies, wart treatment, cosmetic services etc.
• Room patients and stay with patient throughout visit to scribe for provider in EMR system
• Perform clinical and administrative duties including injections, phlebotomy, instrument cleaning, specimen handling, phone calls, scheduling, and patient education

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing Program with a current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA or LPN) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment
• Ability to multi-task and to provide services to patients in a warm and professional manner
• EMR experience
• Ability to work at our St. Paul, Woodbury, Eagan or Vadnais Heights office

Schedule

Full-time, 32 -34 hours/week, 4-5 days/week, must be available Fridays, day shifts
