Job summary

A leading urgent care provider in Rock Ledge Estates is looking for a Medical Assistant to provide general medical care to patients in an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include obtaining patient vitals, administering treatments, performing lab tests, and maintaining documentation. Ideal candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent experience, preferably AMT registered and AAMA Certified. Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Six months to one-year related experience in a medical setting.
• Preferred AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and medical history.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications as per approved procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests and ensure lab quality controls.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
