About University of Minnesota Physicians Broadway Family Medicine Clinic

We are committed to setting the standard for excellence in healthcare delivery for you and your family. We see patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors, including those in nursing homes. Our services include family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, social services, patient education, and referrals to specialty care. We are a Certified Healthcare Home and offer enhanced care coordination services.

What You Will Do:
  • Support providers and patients during clinic visits.
  • Monitor clinic schedules, greet and guide patients, and collect pertinent medical information.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the healthcare team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
  • Assist with minor in-office procedures, giving injections and immunizations, and sample collections, depending on your certification or license.
What You Will Need:
  • As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): NREMT & MN EMT certification.
  • As a Medical Assistant (MA): Medical Assisting Diploma from a CHEA/CAAHEP accredited program (CMA or RMA preferred).
  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active Minnesota LPN license.
  • As a Visit Facilitator: High school diploma or GED and 1+ year of customer service experience if unlicensed.

Compensation:

$21.20 - $34.50 per hour
