The position emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to OSHA/CLIA regulations, and teamwork within a busy outpatient setting. Onsite work schedule is days, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or related technical training preferred.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain patient histories and prepare patients for visits.
• Perform routine lab procedures and prepare specimens for transport to the lab.
• Follow up on test orders and communicate results to providers and patients.
• Maintain patient education materials and EMR records.
• Manage medical equipment and clinical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
