Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee for a Medical Assistant/LPN in an outpatient Internal Medicine setting. This full-time role supports providers, engages with patients, and ensures a seamless, compassionate experience in ambulatory care.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation ranges based on experience, with benefits and growth opportunities within Advocate Health’s extensive system.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• Completion of an accredited MA program or 2 years as a MA within the last 5 years.
• LPN license required in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) must be obtained within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality care.
