Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Houston, in partnership with Memorial Hermann, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers, the radiologic team, and patients across the Greater Houston area.

You will perform limited x-rays, assist with patient care management, organize workflows, and communicate results to Medical Providers. Requirements include LMRT program and high school diploma, BLS at hire, and prior Medical Assistant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LMRT program with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred and X-ray experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and MS Office.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients.
• Perform limited capacity x-rays and report results to providers.
• Assist with patient care management and documentation.
• Maintain organized patient management and communication.
