Job summary

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a qualified inpatient Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records on a 12-hour day shift.

This full-time role (FTE 0.90) offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition discounts for employees and eligible dependents starting 2027.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or multi-state license via Compact.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The RN inpatient Nurse assesses patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. The inpatient Registered Nurse administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. The RN may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. The inpatient RN will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects. The RN will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• BLS required prior to orientation completion.
• Obtain AHA ACLS certification prior to end of orientation period.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
