Job summary

Emplify Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support exceptional care from first visit to final follow-up. The role is 0.8 FTE (64 hours bi-weekly) with a base location in Winona, MN and periodic travel to La Crosse and Onalaska as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS CPR for healthcare workers.
• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and update patient information in charting systems.
• Assist with procedures and virtual visits, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of patient needs.
• Support care from first visit to final follow-up.
• Contribute to quality care through accurate documentation and teamwork.

What you need:
