Job summary

Busy Interventional Pain Management Clinic is seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced interventional pain management team. The role includes floating to three clinics: Mount Juliet, Murfreesboro, and Brentwood, assisting with examinations and procedures, and maintaining EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate has Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience, 3–5 years clinical experience (pain management a plus), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of clinical experience; pain management or orthopedic experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EMR systems (eClinical Works preferred).

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile technique as appropriate.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed.
